Proprietary Blend: 75% Syrah, 25% Grenache
NOTES: Artemia is one of the three red single‑parcel cuvées from Château Pesquié. It is characterized by a typical Northern Rhône–style Syrah expression, with a fresh and airy profile.
WINEMAKING: The grapes are harvested at optimal maturity, with careful attention paid to maintaining a balanced pH. Total destemming and long maceration in concrete tanks.
AGING: Aged for 12 to 15 months in concrete tanks, demi‑muids, and lightly toasted barrels.
TASTING NOTES:
Appearance: Violet‑colored robe
Nose: Aromatic, with notes of violet, licorice, spices, and blackberry
Palate: Velvety texture, with flavors of strawberry, raspberry, graphite, and violet, finishing very long and slightly peppery
