Proprietary Blend: 90% Grenache, 10% Cinsault.
NOTES: Silica is one of the three single‑parcel cuvées from Château Pesquié, alongside Artemia and Ascensio. Its name evokes the sandy terroir from which it draws its elegance and finesse. It is also a tribute to silica, one of the major elements used in biodynamics, reinforcing the wine’s luminous and sparkling character.
WINEMAKING: Fermentation in concrete egg and raw concrete tank, with a long maceration of about 4 weeks using a very gentle infusion (light daily wetting of the cap to limit extraction). No fining. Aging for 12 to 15 months in a selection of lightly toasted demi‑muids and concrete egg. Bottled at the estate.
TASTING NOTES:
Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Delicate yet intense, with aromas of flowers and fresh red fruits.
Palate: Sparkling, juicy, and very refined, with silky tannins and notes of red fruits, kirsch, and white pepper.
