VINEYARD Fruit off of Julia's Vineyard located in the Santa Maria Bench. It is one of the oldest vineyards in the Santa Barbara Valley, and Foxen has been sourcing fruit from this vineyard since 1996. 100% hand-harvested.
VINIFICATION AND AGING Fruit de-stemmed into small open top fermenters. 5 day maceration followed by innoculation with selected yeast. Aged in about half new French oak. Unfined and unfiltered.
