NOTES: The Katherine Lindsay Estate Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley is renowned for its exquisite balance and vivid expression. Grown on Sebastopol sandy loam with a clonal selection of Calera and rooted on 3309 stock, the vineyard’s varied exposure and gentle slopes contribute to the wine’s complexity. The winemaking process is meticulous, featuring indigenous yeast fermentation, a significant cold soak, and a lengthy maceration period, all culminating in aging in French oak barrels. The resulting wine captivates with its deep ruby hue and a palate graced by a symphony of red fruits, accented with hints of Earl Grey tea, white pepper, and red clay, all supported by silky tannins and a lively acidity that carries through to a memorable finish.
