Notes: Platt Vineyard Estate Chardonnay is crafted with minimal intervention to preserve purity and site expression, beginning with whole cluster pressing and fermentation in barrel using a mix of native and selected yeasts. Malolactic fermentation occurs naturally or with selected cultures, and the wine is aged on its lees with little to no stirring, allowing texture to develop while maintaining tension and clarity. Sourced from the cool, coastal slopes of the West Sonoma Coast, the vineyard’s elevation and fog influence yield fruit with remarkable energy and precision. In the glass, the wine reveals flinty reduction and layered aromas of citrus zest, crushed oyster shell, and coastal herbs, evolving into notes of hazelnut, apricot, and meyer lemon tart. Framed by subtle oak and driven by bright acidity, it finishes with a clean, saline edge and laser-focused minerality—a vivid reflection of its coastal terroir.
